We had court tonight! Besides Sofia getting a little impatient towards the end, everything went really well! Sofia didn't originally have a middle name, so we decided a few months back that she would be Sofia Isabella - a name that means wise (Sofia) and God is My Consecration (Isabella). What a beautiful name to describe a beautiful girl!

Sofia Isabella, my crazy, spunky, sweet little sister, there are some things I want to tell you now that you are a part of a forever family. Some things that you must not ever forget.

But most of all, we are so happy that God sent you to us. We love you, precious girl, never forget that!

I know you don't know me, but I have been reading your blog about your adoption story. It is so inspiring! I spent 4 months volunteering in an orphanage in Quito and have so much love for the orphans there. Thank you for what you are doing. I hope to be able to adopt from Quito someday as well! It is kind of funny . . . I actually recognize the places in some of your pictures. Was the restaurant you went to Red Hot Chili Peppers! I love that place! :)
